Treasurer’s Report:  Burt Bostwick

The association is in good shape with a little over $18,000 in bank with all expenses paid.

The GWAA Board has approved a change in anniversary dates.  Presently, each member renews for 1, 3, or 5 years on the anniversary date they signed up.  This requires our membership chair to monitor, maintain and mail out renewal notices up to 12 times a year.  The change approved by the Board now establishes January and July as membership renewal dates.  Henceforth, all new members will have a renewal date of the closest forward date of the receipt of their application.  Motion by Bobby Morris; second by Bud Mayo to accept change in billing for membership.

As a complement to the new anniversary date policy, the Board has also authorized a new dues category.  “Lifetime” or “Paid Up”.  Beginning July 1, 2015 through June 30, 2016 only, members will have the opportunity to sign up for this new category.  The new dues category will cost $100.00 and will be pro-rated for those that will still have time remaining on their existing memberships.

Membership Report:  Martin Johnson went over membership count by years. 956 Total members.
